Nautical Activities

Of course, sailing and boating are the figurehead water sports in Saint-Paul-de-l’Île-aux-Noix, but tourists seeking other water related activities, either over or under, will find what they are looking for in Nautical Capital.

Windsurfers, kayakers, pedal boat lovers, water ski enthusiasts all find our region to be perfect for practicing their favourite activity, so do those who favour cruises on the river, underwater diving or even (summer or winter) fishing.

Underwater diving

The area of the river along the shores of our municipality from north to south, offers a multitude of interesting diving sites. Among them are the shipwrecks of the Naylor (1899), the Vermont (1900) and that of the Maraudeur (1940) a 28 meters wooden barge resting under more than 8 meters of water.
