In 1955, when Gérard Fortin initiated his project, more than one described it as extravagant, but he won them over and gave Saint-Paul-de-l’Ïle-aux-Noix its own specificity. And then others followed suit.

Travelling through Saint-Paul-de-l’Ïle-aux-Noix along Route 223 you can hardly imagine the size of this development. Along the canals that were dug perpendicularly to the river, you will find some of the most beautiful properties.

These residences, that used to be summer houses, are now among the most sought by potential home buyers. Proximity to Montreal being one of many reasons.
