Éco-marinas
Also in 2007, the Association Maritime du Québec (AMQ) launched the Éco-marina program of certification, which endorses environmentally safe management on the part of the marinas.
The program focuses on the marinas acquiring better environmental management in all aspects of their operations: from boat maintenance and repairs, dock maintenance, fuelling and pumping station procedures, etc.

Québec Nautical Stations
The Île-aux-Noix/Lake Champlain Nautical Station was the second to emerge in the province.
The Association Maritime du Québec (AMQ) has recently launched a new program: "Québec Nautical Stations", a tool aimed at developing nautical sports in Québec. This program was inaugurated with the purpose of rallying all of the marine and nautical suppliers from a designated area, so they can offer residents and tourists alike all the necessary boating information under one roof.
